Lorenz's favorite: ultraHD prints behind acrylic glass
Lorenz Holder created an exclusive series of infrared photos for the WhiteWall campaign. We produced these stunning images as ultraHD prints behind acrylic glass - Lorenz's favorite product from the WhiteWall range!
The high-resolution prints really bring out the rich reds and impressive sharpness of the photos. Lorenz Holder says: “It really brings out the colors and is just wow.” Experience the impressive quality and color brilliance of our ultraHD prints behind acrylic glass, ideal for your photo art.
Compared to classic photos, the ultraHD prints achieve twice the resolution and a visibly higher sharpness in the fine image details. The result appears completely realistic and corresponds to natural vision and the retina's ability to bundle all image information and make it tangible as a whole.
Stage your pictures spectacularly
There are several reasons why Lorenz Holder likes to print with WhiteWall. One of them is the color fidelity of the photo prints: “For me as a photographer, it's incredibly important that the images look exactly the same in print as I set them up on the computer. The great thing about WhiteWall is that I don't have to do any conversions, I can just use RGB as normal. I can even download ICC profiles from the website, then I can do a soft proof on my computer and it looks exactly the same on the screen as it will later look in print - for me that was a game changer.”
Our Pop Art frame with its bright neon effect, which radiates into the room depending on the incidence of light, is ideal for the motif, which artfully combines intense colors, blurring and dynamics. With airy transparency and neon-colored radiance, the Pop Art frame in four color variations enhances the effect of strong motifs.
Interview with Lorenz Holder
What appeals to you about action sports photography? Action sports photography is simply the perfect playground for me and the perfect place where I can let my creativity run wild. And for me, it's simply a combination of passion. I love sport, I love landscape, I love architecture and combining all of that in one shot just makes me incredibly happy.
How do you go about photographing action sports? Especially in sport, or actually in almost any sport that you want to photograph, it's important that you get to grips with the subject a bit. That you understand what you're photographing. Particularly in skating, where everything happens very quickly, you have to see the trick coming a bit in order to know when to pull the trigger. But as I said, you can do that for all other sports that you photograph. Be it soccer or tennis, for example. If you know what's coming, it's much easier.
Why did you want to take up the subject of infrared photography? The exciting thing about infrared is that you are photographing something that the human eye cannot see. All plants that photosynthesize are shown in red. People used to use this when they flew over a forest in an airplane and took aerial photos to see when trees were healthy and when they were sick. I found it exciting to take this out of context and bring it into action sports, thereby creating a whole new level for the viewer and surprising them.
You are a WhiteWall Ambassador. How do you feel about the collaboration? The collaboration with WhiteWall is simply incredible fun. I've been a customer for a long time, even before I joined the team. It's just a great partner and I really enjoy working with WhiteWall.
