A double premiere in Paris
WhiteWall is a partner of Paris Photo, a major event in the photographic art world, which will take place at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris from November 10 to 14, 2021. For this year's Paris Photo, exhibitors, artists, and gallerists from around the world will once again come together to showcase historical and contemporary works and discover new talent. The program includes exhibitions, awards, discussions and special events on the history of the medium.
As a photo lab, we are honored to be associated with this prestigious international event, which has supported photographic creations for many years by promoting the work of gallery owners, publishers, and artists. To mark the occasion, WhiteWall will be exhibiting the work of a young emerging artist, presented in a new format and very impressive medium, the WhiteWall Masterprint.

Ottoman series by Mona Schulzek
The young and talented artist Mona Schulzek will present a work from her Ottoman series, an original series of rooms lined with Persian rugs. The artist explores the extent to which a space can be transformed in order to feel the space as a whole. She uses additive sculpting techniques, including rugs to create an abstract spatial perception.
She is interested in space and its adaptation to sculpture, but also in the language of ornamentation and the sensation of weightlessness. One work from this large-format series is presented by WhiteWall on a master print in a monumental size in the Eiffel Gallery at the entrance to the auditorium.
Conceptual artist Mona Schulzek
Mona Schulzek (*1992) is a conceptual artist from Cologne. She is studying at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the class of Gregor Schneider and Peter Piller. In 2019, she received the Max Ernst Scholarship for her artistic work, which was accompanied by a solo exhibition at the Max Ernst Museum. She also received 1st prize at the Vonovia Award for her work "Ottomane", which has been represented in a number of private and museum collections and has been exhibited in the Sprengel Museum Hannover as well as in the Bochum Art Museum. For her research in the field of "electromagnetic art", she trained as a radio operator in 2020 in order to send messages into space and make contact with extraterrestrials using the "Outer Space Transmitter" she had developed.
