WhiteWall wins two TIPA World Awards 2023

The international jury of experts at the TIPA World Awards honored the premium photo lab twice this year. In the category of "Best Photo Lab", WhiteWall excelled with the new WhiteWall configurator for wall art & in the category of "Best Frame Design", the new frames of the WhiteWall Design Edition by Studio Besau-Marguerre won the coveted industry award. This is the fifth time in the company's history that WhiteWall has been honored at the TIPA World Awards. After 2013, 2017, 2020, and 2021 - this year it's a double win for WhiteWall!  

Each year, the members of the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA), which consists of 25 international editors of renowned photo magazines and websites, vote for the best photo and imaging products of the past 12 months. This makes the TIPA World Awards the most important awards in the global photography industry, representing innovation, application of the latest technologies, design, ergonomics, and user friendliness.

Creating wall art from your own photography is a challenging decision-making process in which a variety of factors play an important role from the very start. Selecting the ideal format, the appropriate mountingmaterial and the right frame from a wide range of design options can sometimes seem daunting. At the end of the design process, the most important thing is how the photograph looks in the room or on the wall. This is precisely why WhiteWall has enhanced the wall art configurator and significantly optimized the user guidance. This includes a more user-friendly design process, a photo-realistic 3D representation of the works, a new image optimization tool and an easier switch between room view and 'free rotation'. Realistic reflections on the product and frame surfaces also allow for a better preliminary assessment and therefore ultimately the best possible product selection. 

WhiteWall Design Edition by Studio Besau-Marguerre:

The two designers Eva Marguerre and Marcel Besau cooperated for the first time with WhiteWall - combining international design competence with perfect craftsmanship made in Germany. The result was a new, inspiring design edition of picture frames. The design studio in Hamburg has developed three editions featuring three color schemes in yellow, purple, and green. The result: frames with four different colored borders from one color family with an extraordinary color gradient. The Design Edition is produced at WhiteWall's in-house frame workshop in Frechen, where it is possible to order your own photographs in frames in the format of your choice. The Design Edition is available for the frame "Hamburg, 20mm" and in various product configurations - for example as a lamination set behind acrylic glass or as a classic matted frame.
